filming blog for Music Video

Talking about our film was our main priority when the film date came out. Our ideas were different and we especially had different ways of having a successful film day. When we first arrived at the park we discussed a lot of things surrounding how we wanted to successfully record our video. We made sure we were all on the same page and happy with the plan. This made sure we wouldn't end up arguing and wasting time. I ended up deciding to just try and record everything we did so we wouldn't miss anything. We all at one point shot something though, so each of us could be in the video at one point. This worked in our favor since we did get a lot of different clips and angles throughout the day. By angling my phone and using different affects I was able to successfully capture almost everything we did that morning. I made sure my phone was fully charged and I put on a protective case incase it fell or broke at any time. To make sure we were safe while recording I brought wipes and extra masks so we could clean our hands. This helped me feel safer while being out in the pandemic. Especially because the play ground got crowded towards the end. When filming I made sure I incorporated all sorts of different camera angles. My teammates also contributed to this and gave angles to do. Angles such as low, high, and pan shots/angles were used. Even though we added more angles and shots some of them ended up not going into the conclusion of the film. This was mostly because we couldn't fit all of the different clips in the 1 minute video. I even made sure to incorporate two shots in some parts. Everyone contributed fairly into the filming process and their ideas helped the process come along smoothly.
