Music Video

We could've done a lot of things differently during our process. Maybe if we did the project would've came out 10x better. I think in total we spent 4 or 5 days, but we didn't come out with the commercial we expected. We didn't prioritized it and put enough effort in. I could've taken more shots outside and factored the bipolar weather into our shooting schedule, but I think we just got off tasks with our other assignments. We should've been more understanding towards our differences in opinions. This is probably what put us in such a tight schedule in the first place. I also should've done more research on camera angles and how to better show these angles with my phone. It was harder to keep the phone straight and properly show the correct angles while filming moving objects. Especially because most of our shots were of us moving around around. For future projects I might have to invest in a tripod to make filming easier. We also should've taken into account everyone's flexibility. Next time I film a commercial I will definitely choose something that is easier to film, and is less of a flight risk. In all though, this whole commercial was a big learning experience for me. I realized we should've changed the song too late, so next time I just have to think smarter. I have to film longer, and be more productive in the time I have. I ended up learning how to better pace myself and think outside of the box. I also learned how to adapt and change my plans quickly and fluently under pressure. I now have a new found respect for the whole filming business, I never truly realized how hard it was until I did this project. In all though, I feel like even though we had many bumps in the road we persevered and came out with an amazing music video.
